Explanation
of the difference between a two and a three-position
lift chair:
As you recline in a two
position lift chair your thighs and back stay at about a
90-degree angle.
A three-position lift
chair reclines the seat and back flatten out to put you
in more of a laying down position. A three
position lift chair gives you a wider variety of
positions and lays flatter.
A "chaise"
feature offers support beneath the entire length of your
legs with no spaces or gaps.
Both types lift you up to
a standing position. Both types may be stopped at
any point you find comfortable.
